MOBILE NURSE/MEDICAL LAB ASSISTANT-SELF-EMPLOYED (DAYTIME/MORNING AVAILABILITY – MONDAY/TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY)

What this position offers You:

  • Self-employed status
  • Independence, control, and flexible hours – Be your own boss!
  • Fees based on a price chart per service rendered.
  • Paid mileage and tax deductions.

You will contribute by:

  • Schedule appointments with clients and meet with them at their home or place of work to conduct health assessments.
  • Provide varying services depending on the Wellness program, such as taking vital signs, urine and blood samples.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with Dynacare on the status of your records.

Qualifications and Competencies you will bring:

  • Must be available to see clients Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before 10:00am.
  • Meet minimal certification and licensing required per provincial guidelines.
  • Have experience in phlebotomy, carried out at least 100 blood samples within 12 months. Experience with straight needle blood collection
  • Desire to complete medical examinations while bringing a human touch
  • Possess excellent organizational skills
  • Have access to a computer, internet, and printer
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a vehicle
