POSITION SUMMARY

Drive a company vehicle to conduct routine patrols of the client’s parking areas, provide a visible security presence, deter unwanted activity, and report issues. This is an observe-and-report role: when you encounter criminal activity or emergencies, contact law enforcement and notify supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid driver’s license and an insurable, clean driving record per company standards.
  • Eligible to operate a company vehicle; reliable transportation to/from the post.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay alert while driving at night.
  • Clear, professional communication; basic smartphone/radio use.
  • Must meet background screening requirements applicable to the site.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Mostly in-vehicle work with periodic foot patrols; frequent entering/exiting the vehicle.
  • Ability to sit/drive for extended periods; occasionally lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Outdoor/environmental exposure in all weather.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct continuous vehicle patrols of the assigned lots during the shift.
  • Maintain high visibility to deter trespassing, loitering, vandalism, and unsafe behavior.
  • Observe and report incidents; call police/EMS when needed per post orders.
  • Document shift activity and incidents in simple logs/reports.
  • Communicate with dispatch/supervisors and clients as required.
  • Perform pre/post-shift vehicle inspections; refuel and keep vehicle clean.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies (seatbelt use required; no handheld phone use while driving).
  • Adhere to client post orders and company SOPs.
