Job Description Purpose As a Mobile Security Officer, the role involves providing mobile security services and world-class client service across multiple sites within a designated area. Duties include: Performing tasks such as locks/unlocks, escort services, alarm responses, vacant property inspections, and patrols. Protecting clients’ people, property, and assets while upholding Securitas core values: Integrity, Vigilance, Helpfulness. Responsibilities Mobile Security Services: Deliver a range of services (locks/unlocks, internal/external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections, escort services). Professional Conduct: Maintain a polite, professional, and helpful attitude toward clients and colleagues. Team Direction: Follow instructions from Team Leaders and collaborate effectively. Uniform & Identification: Wear company uniform and display SIA licence and ID card. Vehicle Management: Complete vehicle handovers and checks at shift start/end. Safe Driving: Follow Highway Code, drive carefully, maintain company reputation. Key Management: Adhere to correct processes for handling keys. Assignment Completion: Follow site instructions and conduct risk assessments. Incident Escalation: Follow escalation processes for incidents, break-ins, health and safety issues, and traffic accidents. Reporting: Use GRS/SMP correctly, ensure accurate data capture with photos. Compliance: Follow SOP13 and SOP18, understand driver’s handbook and agreement. Flexibility: Be able to work across Branch Guarding districts and assist other branches. Asset Security: Secure company assets (including PDAs) and ensure functionality. Qualifications What we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have: Full UK Driving Licence. Valid SIA Front Line Licence. Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends. The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history. British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years (due to site requirements). Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken. Minimum of one year of mobile security experience preferred but not essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good verbal and communication skills.
