Site: | Various
Hours: | Nights only 2000- 0800 – Week 1: Sunday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Week 2: Sunday, Friday, Sat
Overtime Method: | Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
Payrate: | $22.50/hourly

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Provides leadership, direction and ongoing coaching and training
  • Ensures all site staff adhere to all Paladin Security policies and procedures
  • Ensures all Security Officers have received the mandatory training
  • Ensures proper documentation is passed onto the Field Manager/CSM
  • Documents and investigates security incidents and complaints
  • Communicates any concerns/issues with Supervisor/Client Service Manager
  • Manage day to day operations of the mobile department
  • Respond to alarms

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have


    • Valid Security License for the province of Ontario

    • Valid First Aid/CPR - Level C from WSIB-approved source
    • 6 months security supervisor experience preferred
    • 6 months experience in security preferred
    • Proficient in English (both oral and written)
    • Valid G Ontario Driver’s License with minimum driving experience of 3 years.
    • Must be able to


      • Must pass drivers abstract for the past 3 years. No more than two minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerit points in the last three years

      • Complete extensive patrolling of interior and exterior of site (including in inclement weather)
      • Remain calm in emergency situations
      • Follow and enforce site rules and regulations as set out by both the client and Paladin
      • Operate independently as well as part of a team to complete tasks
      • Complete reports at the end of shift as well as incident reports
      • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)


        • Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin’s UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position

        • Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
        • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
        • Authorized to legally work in Canada
