Bathe, brush, and dry pets, ensuring their coats are clean and well-maintained. Trim and style fur based on breed standards or owner preferences. Clip nails, clean ears, and brush teeth as part of routine grooming care. Identify and report any skin conditions, parasites, or abnormalities to pet owners. Handle pets with care and patience, ensuring their comfort and safety during the grooming process. Maintain a clean and organized mobile grooming salon, following sanitation protocols. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs and instructions. Manage pet behavior, using calming techniques to handle anxious or difficult pets. Provide feedback to owners on their pet’s grooming experience and any health concerns noticed. Requirements No degree is required but welcome; we are looking for groomers with experience. Knowledge of various dog grooming techniques, and breed-specific standards. Strong animal handling skills and the ability to work with pets of different temperaments. Physical stamina and ability to lift and handle pets of all sizes. Attention to detail with excellent grooming and styling skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Familiarity with grooming tools and equipment maintenance. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for animals.
