JOB OVERVIEW

Cheetham Hill Construction has been operating for almost 60 years. We are seeking a Skilled Mobile Plant Fitter with experience working on Volvo and CAT machines to join our team, working at Glensanda Quarry, Oban maintaining and servicing our fleet of plant. This role requires flexibility, a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all work performed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the Civil engineering and Construction sector.
• Strong understanding of Volvo and CAT machinery.
• Proficient in using various hand tools and machinery relevant to the fitting process.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in engineering or mechanical fitting are advantageous but not essential. • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions promptly and communicate back to the Plant Team at Head Office in Bury.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Document work processes and report any discrepancies or issues encountered during fitting tasks.
