Mobile Plant Fitter - Frog Island, Rainham Essex £45,432.92 per annum 41 hours per week - Mon-Fri The successful candidate will be a certified Fitter/Mechanic who will be responsible for repairing and maintaining mobile plant to ensure utmost reliability and safety whilst reducing downtime. Working as part of a small team, you must be willing to perform tasks outside of the role description. Key Responsibilities: Providing technical support to all mobile plant operations Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks around the ELWA sites Repairing mobile plant around the ELWA sites Anticipate mobile plant failures and make such changes or recommendations to prevent reoccurrence to minimize downtime Using hand tools, welding equipment, powered hand tools and cutting equipment Ensuring H&S standards are maintained, and all related documentation is completed Liaising with external contractors on specific repairs/maintenance work Travelling and working between ELWA Sites as and when required. Essential criteria for this role: Able to diagnose faults, repair and maintain machinery, and have a good understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
