Gunther Civil is an established Civil Construction business with operational projects in QLD and NSW. Gunther Civil offers a wide range of services including road maintenance, road building, drainage, quarry operations, bulk and detailed earthworks and subdivisions.
We have a number of roles available at present in North Queensland from our base in Mount Garnet.
We are currently seeking operators of the following:
Excavators
Dozers
Watercart
Articulated haul truck
Grader
Rollers
Ground labourers
Generally our teams are multiskilled, with the ability to undertake multiple tasks at different times as projects evolve. The roles are suited to those willing to get their hands dirty at times as required.
Multiple positions available. Must be able to present fit for work; alcohol and drug-free. Local works in North QLD area. Ongoing project with opportunities for development. The ideal applicants take pride in their work, contribute to the team and demonstrate attention to detail. Full time, with flexible rosters available where possible. Local applicants preferred however accommodation may be available in our camp for those working away from home.
Whilst experienced operators are desired there may be potential for traineeships to gain tickets/experience in machine operations. Willingness and commitment to complete traineeship will be essential, as well as some related experience eg exposure to heavy machinery, road trucks or similar.
