Description Job Summary A Program Manager manages ongoing program activity or a group of related projects for the company. Job Duties Handles day-to-day operations of the Mobile Mammography Program including oversight of fleet maintenance and operations. -Maintain adequate coverage, including performing patient exams yourself during periods of staff absences and/or heavy workloads. -Prepares staff schedule - Approves time off requests for scheduling purposes -Approves timecards -Conducts annual performance reviews -Recommends hiring/firing of employees -Maintains adequate supplies -Perform exams with technical competence in accordance with all established standards of care. Assists in preparation of the budget for the Mobile Department. Makes recommendations to Director regarding new and replacement equipment that should be purchased. Ensures department stays within designated annual budget. Reviews, processes, and approves invoices for department within signing level. Ensures patient care is provided in a caring and professional manner. Tracks and evaluates trends and recommends changes. Develops and maintains cooperative working relationships between departments and centers to ensure consistent delivery of positive front-end customer service. Assists with site acquisition and coordination of mobile sites and patient scheduling and rebooking of sites. Oversees quality control and ensures compliance for TDSHS, FDA, ACR and DOT (where applicable). Schedules and ensures completion of preventative maintenance/repair of equipment and annual physicist survey. Reviews with EQIP as needed. Reviews Outlook calendar and statistics, patient information and site records are current in Empower Her, PenRad and applicable systems. Ensures Mobile telephone and email messages are returned in a timely manner. Prepares assigned reports and audits. Makes appropriate corrections in PenRad. Monitors patient activity processes and coordinates program per screening guidelines and internal policies and procedures Performs other duties as assigned; and cross-training as needed. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; Mammography certification preferred. A minimum of three years of progressive management experience in a fast-paced breast center required. Must have proven organizational skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in PACS, information systems, and computer skills required. Should be mechanically inclined and have or obtain basic knowledge of diesel vehicles, diesel generators, air suspension and imaging equipment. Experience with DOT regulations, mobile services, Freightliner, RVs, buses, or coaches is preferred. Continuing Education Requirements: Employees of The Rose Imaging Center are expected to participate in appropriate continuing education programs as may be requested and/or required by their Supervisor or licensing agency. In addition, employees are expected to accept personal responsibility for other educational activities to enhance job related skills and abilities.
