KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Deliver specialist cleaning activities as directed to achieve the agreed outputs and outcomes as detailed in the cleaning specification.
  • Ensure the delivery of specialist cleaning activities does not impact site operations.
  • Comply with all business processes, procedures, and policies to ensure a sustainable, friendly, and safe working environment for all site users.
  • Ensure compliance with safe working methods, when undertaking cleaning activities, and wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the cleaning activities being undertaken.
  • Complete operator inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all issued equipment, and report any damage and/or breakdowns promptly to the relevant line manager.
  • Respond pro-actively to reactive cleaning jobs as directed by your line manager.
  • Regular communication with your line manager, raising any concerns, challenges or issues that are preventing you from ‘doing your best days work’.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience of commercial specialist cleaning – Optional
  • Full U.K. driving licence – Mandatory
  • Have detailed knowledge of cleaning methods and standards such as BICS.
  • Understand health and safety legislation – Mandatory.
  • Lead by example, with positive safety behaviours and actively apply safe working methods.
  • Keep team members fully informed thus encouraging two-way communication.
  • Inspires a positive atmosphere in the workplace.
  • Water Jetting Associated Training Certificate – Optional

Responsibilities
  • Specialist Cleaning Teams will be responsible for all the planned and reactive specialist cleaning within their assigned region, using specialist equipment.
  • You will work with a cleaning co-ordinator , who will be responsible for your day-to-day management, while delivering the assigned activities.
  • Flexibility is a component of the role because activities need to be delivered around site operations.
  • The role is mobile and encompasses daily travel to different locations to deliver the planned and reactive program of work and might require overnight stays.
  • It’s a physically challenging and demanding role, with manual handling activities being a key element of the role.
  • Several tasks associated with the role will involve working with mechanical equipment and others will require working at height
