JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Mobile Response Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of various locations by responding promptly to incidents, conducting surveillance, and implementing loss prevention strategies. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and effectively manage challenging situations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a security role or similar position is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
  • Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems and their operation is advantageous.
  • Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
  • A valid driver’s licence is preferred for mobile response duties.

Responsibilities
  • Respond swiftly to alarms and incidents at designated sites, ensuring a prompt resolution.
  • Conduct regular patrols of premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor CCTV systems to identify potential security threats and report findings.
  • Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on site.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents.
  • Document all incidents accurately in reports for further investigation or review.
  • Implement loss prevention measures to minimise theft and damage to property.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with clients, staff, and the public.
