OVERVIEW

Due to expansion we are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Officer to join our security team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive surveillance and intervention strategies. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in is advantageous but not mandatory. as we provide ongoing training and Inductions.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail are crucial for identifying potential threats or issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective reporting and interaction with the public.
• You are required to hold a valid and current Door Supervision or Security Guarding SIA Licence.
• You are also required to have a valid UK Driving Licence, be over the age of 23 for insurance reasons, and have a minimum of two years’ driving experience in the UK.

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of criminal activity or safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
• Engage with the public and staff to provide assistance and information, fostering a sense of security within the community.
• Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for review by management.
