About this Position We’re looking for a Mobile Speed Camera Operators (MSCOs) to join the NZ team and support Acusensus' mission of improving road safety. This is a field based role that will involve a mix of day, night, and weekend shifts – perfect if you’re someone who doesn't like the traditional 9-5. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and packing down mobile enforcement systems (trailers and vehicles) at locations across New Zealand. You’ll work independently, but with strong support from the control centre. Key Responsibilities Carry out site risk assessments before each enforcement session. Set up, operate, and monitor mobile enforcement equipment. Communicate regularly with the control centre during shifts. Complete shift reports and report any issues or maintenance needs. Follow safety protocols and drive safely between sites. Handle any public interaction with professionalism and care. What You’ll Bring A valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Confidence using technology and mobile devices. High attention to detail – especially when recording and reporting data. Strong communication skills and ability to work solo. Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends. A passion for making a positive impact in your community.
