Description:

We are seeking a Tech Lead to join our North America mobile team. As a Tech Lead, you will be at the forefront of mobile development, designing robust mobile architectures from the ground up while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and performant applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
This role will be focused on developing our Xsolla App. An app designed for gamers, consisting of mini-apps representing products by Xsolla and 3rd parties. The core functionality revolves around allowing users to earn and spend virtual currency across various games and services.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of experience in mobile application development with a strong focus on iOS and Android platforms.
  • Proven track record of delivering commercial mobile applications from concept to launch.
  • Experience leading and mentoring development teams.
  • Proficiency in mobile development frameworks and programming languages (Swift, Kotlin, React Native).
  • Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns
  • Experience with third-party integrations and APIs.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with gaming ecosystems and virtual currency platforms is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the mobile development team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Define and implement best practices for mobile development processes, code reviews, and testing strategies.
  • Drive innovation by staying updated with emerging technologies and tools in mobile development.
  • Design scalable and maintainable mobile application architectures from scratch.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical solutions that meet business goals.
  • Ensure seamless integration of mini-apps and virtual currency systems within the Xsolla App ecosystem.
  • Work closely with global cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives.
  • Facilitate effective communication across globally distributed teams.
  • Oversee the entire development lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality applications.
