Description Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists, the industry leader in wheel repair and reconditioning, is seeking a Mobile Technician Manager to lead and support our mobile wheel repair team. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient field operations, high-quality service, strong customer relationships, and the overall success of our mobile division. The Mobile Technician Manager oversees a team of Mobile Techs, coordinates daily routes, ensures adherence to safety and quality standards, provides ongoing training, and supports technicians with troubleshooting and performance development. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, solution-oriented, and experienced in managing field teams or automotive repair operations. What You’ll Do Team Leadership & Development Lead, supervise, and mentor Mobile Technicians to ensure high performance and adherence to AWRS service standards. Provide ongoing coaching, technical training, and performance evaluations. Support technicians with troubleshooting, customer communication, and complex repair situations. Operational Oversight Coordinate daily technician schedules, routes, and job assignments to ensure timely service delivery. Monitor productivity, quality of work, and compliance with company processes. Ensure proper use and maintenance of mobile repair equipment, tools, and vehicles. Track KPIs and report technician performance to leadership. Customer Service & Relationship Building Support technicians in delivering exceptional customer service at dealerships, body shops, fleet accounts, and retail locations. Address customer concerns, escalations, or service challenges promptly and professionally. Strengthen relationships with key accounts to support retention and growth. Safety, Quality & Compliance Ensure technicians follow AWRS safety procedures, equipment protocols, and quality guidelines. Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety meetings and vehicle/equipment inspections. Administrative Responsibilities Manage technician timecards, mileage logs, inventory needs, and work orders. Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new technicians. Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and operational efficiencies. Requirements Previous experience in automotive repair, mobile service operations, field team management, or a similar role. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate technicians. Excellent problem-solving abilities, especially in field environments. Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor. Ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and maintain operational flow. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
