Cavendish Engineers are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Engineer to join our team. As a Mobile Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various mechanical and electrical systems across multiple high-end facilities. This dynamic role requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • City & Guilds Level 2 / 3 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • 18th Edition (desirable)
  • Experience in a client-facing environment
  • Proven IT skills
  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude
  • Reliable and dependable
  • BMS experience and multi-skilling capability
  • Health & Safety Awareness
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with good verbal and written abilities
Responsibilities
  • Conduct PPM and planned maintenance, response, and fault analysis
  • Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments
  • Check and inspect electrical/mechanical services, plant, and systems
  • Complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specifications
  • Perform general duties requiring multi-skilled disciplines, including but not limited to:
  • Conduct reactive and Extra Work requirements in adherence to engineering standards
  • Ensure maintenance & inspection records are completed and logged accordingly
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance
  • Maintain and upgrade lighting systems
  • Conduct lamp and ballast changes
  • Ensure functionality of emergency lighting
  • Maintain and test fire alarm systems
  • Service and repair air handling units (AHUs)
  • Carry out water treatment tasks
  • Keep log books up to date
  • Manage and organise subcontractors on site
  • Re-lamp luminaires
  • Fault find in electrical wiring systems, motors, generators, and lighting systems
  • Maintain chillers and AHUs
  • Clean foul water systems and drains
  • Inspect and repair all M&E systems such as extract and supply air ductwork systems, FCUs, plumbing, and heating systems
  • Report to supervisors or the head of maintenance
