We are committed to safety, professionalism, and delivering high-quality service to our clients while fostering a supportive and team-oriented work environment.   Position Summary   The Mobile Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for patrolling assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence, and ensuring the safety and security of client properties, personnel, and visitors. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents.   Minimum Requirements * Must be 25 years of age or older (insurance requirement for company vehicle operation) * Valid Illinois PERC Card * 20-Hour Unarmed Security Training Certificate * Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required for mobile patrol duties) * High School Diploma or GED (bachelor’s degree preferred) * Valid government-issued photo identification * Authorization to work in the United States * Ability to pass a background check and any other pre-employment screenings, in accordance with applicable law Preferred Qualifications * 2–5 years of security experience * Prior mobile patrol experience * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Experience in customer service, conflict resolution, or de-escalation Key Responsibilities * Conduct mobile and/or foot patrols of assigned locations * Maintain a visible presence to deter suspicious or unlawful activity * Monitor premises and identify potential risks or hazards * Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies * Provide professional customer service and assistance to employees, clients, and visitors * De-escalate conflicts and report incidents appropriately * Complete accurate incident reports, logs, and documentation in a timely manner * Follow all post orders and client-specific instructions * Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, and team members * Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with company policies * Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations   Work Environment & Expectations * Combination of indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions * Extended periods of standing, walking, and driving * Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays How to Apply * Apply online via company website or job platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter) * Walk-in applications welcome: Tuesdays & Thursdays | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM 7815 S.
