JOB DESCRIPTION

Project Management & Planning

• Lead end-to-end mobilisation of new facilities, from site selection process to grand opening.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Apply your project management expertise to keep everything on track, on time, and on budget.
• Conduct post-launch reviews to refine processes and drive continuous improvement.

Operational Setup & Readiness

• Ensure each site is fully equipped and operational, with robust systems for inventory, customer service, and security.
• Leverage your facilities management experience to coordinate fit-outs, equipment installation, and site readiness.
• Implement smart operational strategies that maximise space and minimise costs.

Security & Compliance

• Oversee the installation and integration of advanced security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Develop and maintain safe systems of work and risk mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, onboard, and train new staff, building high-performing teams from day one.
• Foster a positive, proactive work culture that reflects our values and customer-first mindset.
• Design and deliver training programs that elevate operational excellence.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the key liaison for developers, contractors, local authorities, and internal teams.
• Provide clear, consistent updates and resolve challenges with confidence and diplomacy.
• Collaborate across departments—marketing, finance, HR—to ensure smooth integration.

SKILLS

• Proven experience in project management.
• Strong background in facilities management, with hands-on knowledge of site mobilisation and operational setup.
• Familiarity with security systems and compliance standards relevant to commercial or storage facilities.
• Experience in the self-storage industry or a related sector is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
