Role description: As the Mobility Advisory West Practice Lead at Arcadis, you will spearhead strategic growth and delivery of multimodal transportation solutions across Southern California. Reporting to the national Mobility Advisory Lead and supported by Arcadis' international expertise and multi-disciplinary strengths in Intelligent Mobility, Resilience, Transit Design and Architecture and Transit Oriented Development, this role combines visionary leadership with hands-on project execution to elevate community livability through safe, sustainable, inclusive multimodal mobility. Role accountabilities: Lead regional practice operations: strategy, business development, financials, and team management. Mentor and grow a dynamic team of planners and engineers in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. Drive business development: leverage and cultivate client relationships, lead proposals, and represent Arcadis in public forums. Oversee complex, multidisciplinary projects with full accountability for client satisfaction and financial performance. Qualifications & Experience: Required Qualifications: Minimum of 15 years' progressively responsible experience in multimodal transportation planning with an emphasis on complete streets, active transportation and/or public transit Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Engineering or related disciplines AICP, PMP or California PE preferred Key Attributes Deep familiarity and working experience with southern California agencies such as LA Metro, OCTA, SANDAG, SCAG, and local cities. Proven leadership in staff development, client engagement, and financial oversight. Professional leadership demonstrated by publications, committee memberships, professional presentations or other activities. Base can be LA, OC or SD Why Arcadis? Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
