RNC is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated Rehabilitation or Habilitation professional to our Independent Living Skills and Mobility team
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality skills training that equips visually impaired students aged 16-25 with essential skills for independent living while at college and beyond?
Do you have experience of teaching/providing such training in the community, mainstream and/or a specialist education setting?
In this rewarding role, you will plan and deliver inclusive, engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of our learners as part of their wider academic and vocational programme offer.
You will work across college to enable the acquisition of essential independence skills and their transference beyond your lessons into ‘real life’ situations. With support from the wider college staff team you will help students to build their confidence through practice and embed the skills they need for life and living post RNC.
