ABOUT YOU

We are seeking an individual who possesses not only technical expertise but also organisational skills, teamwork abilities, reliability, and a willingness to grow alongside the business.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical skills in mechanical engineering, electrical systems, and diagnostics
  • Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair work
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and confident working independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full, UK driving license (free of points or disqualifications)
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check required)

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • NVQ, City & Guilds, or similar engineering qualification
  • Previous experience in the mobility, healthcare, or assistive technology sectors
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

This versatile and rewarding position is ideal for individuals with a mechanical or electrical background who thrive on problem-solving, independent work, and making a tangible impact on customers’ lives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver, service, repair, and maintain mobility scooters, powerchairs, and riser recliner chairs (full training provided)
  • Recondition mobility products
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections on client products
  • Install, repair and maintain stairlifts (full training provided)
  • Deliver, install, and demonstrate hospital beds and specialist seating
  • Maintain a clean, well-organised, and safe working environment
  • Maintain and organise the warehouse for spare parts and shop stock
  • Accurately complete job sheets and service records
  • Represent the company with professionalism and a positive attitude at all times
