Learn more about IOM’s workplace culture at IOM workplace culture | International Organization for Migration This Vacancy Notice is part of IOM’s competitive mobility exercise, open for applications from internal and internal-equivalent candidates only.    Organizational Context and Scope Under the direct supervision of the Senior Programme Coordinator of the Family Assistance Programme (FAP), and the thematic guidance of the Head of the Immigration and Border Governance (IBG)’s Visa and Immigration Unit at HQ,  and in close coordination with the Country Office’s senior management at the duty station (depending on the  structure of the Country Office where the position  is based), the Deputy Global Programme Coordinator (FAP) will be responsible for jointly ensuring the effective planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and coordination of all centers of the global Family Assistance Programme (FAP), with a focus on sound protection-centred, rights-based and results-oriented programme management.  The Deputy Global Programme Coordinator (FAP) will ensure that the expertise of the Family Assistance Programme is leveraged to promote and expand regular pathways globally, in coordination and guidance with the Labour Mobility and Social Inclusion (LMI) Division, the Immigration and Border Governance Division (IBG) and the Protection Division (PxD)  at Headquarters, regional and local levels.  Finally, the The Deputy Global Programme Coordinator (FAP) will support the senior management team at the Country Office in programme development and management.
Responsibilities
Jointly ensure the effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and coordination of the global Family Assistance Programme (FAP) with a rights-based approach. Support the expansion of regular migration pathways globally and assist Country Office senior management in programme development.
