Role Summary We’re hiring a Field Sales Manager (Thailand) to lead store onboarding and expansion for Modcart across GT (General Trade), MT (Modern Trade), and LMT (Local Modern Trade). This role is responsible for building store relationships, driving onboarding targets, and recruiting and managing field teams in Greater Bangkok. What You’ll Do Store Onboarding & Activation Drive onboarding of GT/MT/LMT stores onto the Modcart platform across priority regions. Pitch Modcart’s value proposition to store owners/managers and guide them through onboarding steps. Ensure stores are activated successfully (training, first transactions/usage, compliance to process). Field Sales Execution Build and manage a pipeline of stores; set weekly/monthly onboarding targets. Conduct regular store visits and coordinate with distributor/FMCG partner teams where needed. Track execution metrics and share weekly progress reports. Team Building & Expansion Recruit, train, and manage field teams in cities outside Bangkok Establish playbooks for onboarding, store training, and reporting. Set performance KPIs and ensure consistent field discipline and quality. Partner & Stakeholder Management Work closely with FMCG companies, distributors, and internal ops/tech teams to remove onboarding blockers. Gather on-ground feedback and share insights to improve product, pitch, and onboarding processes. What We’re Looking For 5+ years experience in field sales / route-to-market / retail execution in the Philippines. Proven experience onboarding retail stores for FMCG companies, distributors, or trade platforms. Strong network and understanding of GT, MT, and LMT dynamics. Experience hiring and managing multi-city field teams (promoters/merchandisers/field sales reps). Comfortable with frequent travel and high on-ground execution. Strong communication skills in both store-facing and partner-facing contexts. Data-driven mindset: can track targets, funnel conversion, and field productivity. Nice to Have Experience launching a new product/platform across regions. Experience working with POS, ordering apps, loyalty platforms, or trade activation tech. Familiarity with distributor-led models and joint business planning basics. Success Measures Number of stores onboarded and activated (not just signed) Onboarding funnel conversion and time-to-activation City rollout readiness and team productivity Quality of store relationships and partner coordination Location / Travel Based in Bangkok National Capital Region, with regular travel to key cities outside Bangkok.
