Model and Simulation Technician The Opportunity: As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe. As a Model and Simulation Technician, you’ll bring your defense security expertise to work on projects for the space mission. You’ll prepare, execute, analyze, and report viable Model and Simulation tools to emulate Space Forces operations activities in the INDOPACOM. You will incorporate models and simulation into applicable exercises and integrate these capabilities onto Common Operation Pictures, such as MAVEN Smart Systems, Bodhi, and PDSM. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: 5+ years of experience in using Systems Tool Kit (STK) modeling software to enable execution of on-orbit movement and maneuvers 5+ years of experience in orbital mechanics, including with respect to modeling and simulating them for exercise purposes 5+ years of experience using Common Operating Pictures, such as MAVEN Smart Systems, Bodhi, and PDSM Knowledge of the electromagnetic spectrum for electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO) Knowledge of Space Mission Areas TS/SCI clearance Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: 10+ years of experience using STK Experience working in the Indo-Pacific region Knowledge of the space domain Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
