Description
SAIC is seeking a Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE) Engineer to support our San Diego, CA team. This is a HYBRDI/REMOTE role, must be local to San Diego, CA for onsite needs 3-4 days a week. JOB DUTIES: Develop and maintain system architecture models using SysML and MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo/MagicDraw) Facilitate the development of Black Box and White Box models in accordance with DoD and NAVWAR standards Work closely with program engineering teams, program SMEs, and other stakeholders to identify what data is available for each program that can feed into a model Integrate MBSE approaches with traditional systems engineering practices and digital engineering frameworks Translate stakeholder requirements and system components into models Participate in or lead technical reviews, model-based design efforts, and system verification/validation planning REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience in systems engineering Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have an Active Secret Clearance to Start 3 years experience in MBSE roles Expertise in MBSE methodologies, tools (such as Cameo/MagicDraw), and DoD acquisition processes to develop and maintain digital system models DESIRED SKILLS: Proficiency in Cameo/MagicDraw Experience with SysML and formal modeling techniques including Black and White Box Models. Familiarity with DoD systems lifecycle (DoDI 5000.02, JCIDS, etc.) and C4I engineering processes Experience supporting DoD programs (Navy and C4I experience strongly preferred)
