BASIC QUALIFICATIONS.


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.

  • Experience developing models with SysML

  • Experience with at least one Model Based Systems Engineering modeling tool.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally from informal one-on-one discussions or in a small group environment.

  • Work well within a team and independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work within a dynamic work environment, ability to handle multiple tasks at once (multi-task)

  • Strong desire to grow and learn new technologies.

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS.


  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance

  • Familiar with Agile Methodologies, preferably SCRUM or Kanban

  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket

  • Experience using Teamwork Cloud

  • Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler

  • Familiarity with SysML v2

  • Experience with model and simulation environments to support simulation and test

  • Experience with AFSIM

  • Familiarity with DoD MOSA Initiatives

  • Experience with Unit Testing and CI/CD

  • Understanding of Military CONOPS

  • Prior experience working with the DoD

Responsibilities

  • Capture, decompose, and trace system level requirements.

  • Analyze, define, and refine architectures and interfaces.

  • Develop system structure and behavior.

  • Develop SysML based models to support Air Force programs

  • Collaborate with government stakeholders and internal engineering teams.

  • Stay up to date on state of the art MBSE practices and technologies.
