SAIC is seeking a driven Model-Based Systems Engineer to join our team of experts providing operational and mission support to a government customer in Virginia. Position Responsibilities: Responsible for the creation and maintenance of a department-side architecture tool, leveraging Model-Based Systems Engineering via the Cameo application suite In concert with team members, collaborate with department teams and external stakeholders to gather future architecture requirements, functions, and behaviors as well as gather applicable characteristics of existing systems Develop detailed diagrams to capture information gathered from various stakeholders in an MBSE approach Present architecture products to stakeholders for feedback and update to meet evolving needs Support the development of requirements documents based on the future architecture Active TS/SCI with polygraph Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of experience, or Master’s and 6 years, or PhD and 3 years are required Previous experience working in the IC Working knowledge of MBSE Experience developing CONOPS/Use Cases Ability to decompose system functions and behaviors Requirements development and management experience Strong time management skills; ability to support multiple projects; ability to multi-task Must be a team player and possess a strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team as well as work independently with minimal supervision Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp-up to support customer's needs, clearly communicate (orally and written) ideas, take initiative to provide creative solutions to challenges and/or systemic problems Proactive and forward-leaning
