MAKE AN IMPACT Requirements: JD- The role holder will also continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology. This will be achieved by ensuring all actions take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring. Also by addressing any areas of concern in conjunction with the global lead and line management and/or the appropriate department. The role holder will work with a Global Finance team that delivers develops and oversees risk around models and other quantitative methodologies within Finance. The role will require supporting teams/activities across multiple global regions. Experience in a Finance function’s transformation around controls, risk or regulation An understanding of Finance A proactive and solutions-focused mind-set, with the ability to identify and address potential risks and issues before they impact project success. Ability to provide senior SME knowledge in specific areas to continuously improve approach Experience of building relationships with a variety of stakeholders including senior stakeholders A commitment to staying current with industry best practices and emerging trends in SS1/23 implementation Experience working with Risk / Analytics / Quant teams is a key differentiator Proven track record in dynamic environments, with the ability to support & direct teams with diverse backgrounds and skill-sets, both locally and cross-geography and to maintain a global perspective Strong management, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills including the ability to listen to and influence stakeholders at all levels, and to build consensus among a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities
