Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: This hybrid role is a hands‑on delivery and customer‑facing technical specialist responsible for designing, deploying, securing, and operating Microsoft 365 environments for Public Sector customers (Government, Education, Defense, and regulated agencies). This role focuses on execution excellence, regulatory compliance, and long‑term customer trust, operating as the partner’s technical authority across Microsoft 365 collaboration, security, and governance workloads. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Serve as the primary technical owner for Public Sector M365 engagements. Lead technical discovery, solution design, and delivery execution aligned to government policies and mandates. Engage directly with customer IT, security, compliance, and audit teams. Translate government regulations, RFPs, and contractual requirements into compliant M365 solutions. Own technical delivery milestones, acceptance criteria, and documentation. Design, deploy, and operate: Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint Online and OneDrive, Microsoft 365 Apps Implement and operationalize: Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Identity and Access Management Configure tenant‑wide security baselines aligned to Public Sector standards. Support audits, security assessments, and compliance sign‑offs. Deliver solutions aligned to: Data residency and data sovereignty requirements, Government cloud regulated environment expectations, Least privilege access and Zero Trust principals Produce evidence‑ready documentation for audits and compliance reviews. Implement governance models for collaboration tools in regulated environments. Deliver admin handover, SOPs, and operational runbooks. Support user adoption while enforcing policy‑driven controls. Troubleshoot complex tenant‑level issues in live government environments. Deliver against SOWs, SLAs, and contractual milestones. Work within partner delivery models (billable projects, managed services, AMS). Collaborate with partner architects, project managers, and customer success teams. Support RFP responses, technical proposals, and solution estimations when required.
