Job title: Modern Workplace Engineer
Location: Role can be based from either our Manchester or Leeds locations (Hybrid working available)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £45k depending on experience + benefits

PERSON, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft security frameworks and compliance standards, including Azure Security Centre, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Purview and identity management with Entra ID.
  • Strong Teams Voice/ telephony skills
  • Strong Intune experience from implementation, roll out and management
  • Strong M365 skills
  • Awareness of other MDM/solutions such as Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise, Knox if possible
  • Tenant to Tenant migrations
  • On prem to 365 migrations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Confident and professional communicator, able to lead customer workshops, and collaborative meetings with stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of efficiently identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a managed service provider (MSP) or IT service environment.
  • A passion for leveraging technology to address business challenges and drive value for clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
  • An analytical and pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a commitment to a customer-centric mindset.
Responsibilities

As a Modern Workplace within our Cloud Hybrid Team, you will be instrumental in leveraging technologies to advance Modern Workplace working but also bridge the gap between on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring a cohesive and efficient working experience for our clients. Your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid solutions using Microsoft 365 and related tools that empower clients to collaborate seamlessly, whether their teams are working remotely or in the office.
