Ko tā mātou mahi - About the role This hands-on technical leadership role shapes how Kordia delivers secure, modern ways of working across our organisation. As our Modern Workplace Lead, you will own the design and delivery of our Microsoft 365 environment, shaping both the current state and what comes next. You will lead the evolution of Microsoft 365, endpoint and identity services, with a strong focus on security, governance and user experience. This includes advancing automation, enabling AI-driven capabilities and strengthening how we manage and protect information across Kordia. Ko tō mahi – What you will do You will translate that direction into delivery, leading the implementation and optimisation of the Microsoft 365 environment. Working closely with Architecture, Security and Operations, you will ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to business needs. Key responsibilities include: * Owning the design, delivery and continuous improvement across Microsoft 365, endpoint and identity services * Shaping and delivering the roadmap for secure, modern workplace capabilities * Designing and implementing solutions across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and collaboration platforms * Enabling workflow automation and AI‑driven capability using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 Copilot * Improving collaboration, external sharing and information management across SharePoint Online and OneDrive * Ensuring strong governance, security and information protection practices * Acting as the technical anchor, providing assurance, peer review and escalation support for complex issues * Hands‑on application packaging, deployment and lifecycle management across Windows and macOS. * Leading endpoint strategy and uplift across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android using modern management approaches * Strengthening identity and access controls using Microsoft Entra ID Nā tōu rourou – What you will bring Our ideal candidate will demonstrate: * Proven experience leading Modern Workplace or endpoint platforms in a hands-on technical role * Advanced expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure and endpoint management technologies * Strong experience in identity, access management and workplace security controls * Demonstrated capability in implementing data governance, information protection and secure collaboration practices * Experience enabling automation and productivity uplift using Microsoft Power Platform and AI-enabled tooling * Ability to influence technical direction and contribute to future state architecture * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical outcomes * Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience, with Microsoft certifications advantageous Nōu te rourou – Why join us?
