REQUIREMENTS -

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role in modular construction.
  • Strong knowledge of modular construction processes, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.
  • CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 certifications (required).
  • Additional safety certifications (First Aid, Fall Protection, etc.) considered an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required).
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time across Western Canada.
  • Skilled in computer use and project coordination.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day modular construction site activities.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure efficient assembly and installation of modular units.
  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct site inspections, and maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure modular units meet quality standards, building codes, and client specifications.
  • Resolve on-site issues such as delays, material shortages, or coordination conflicts.
  • Track project progress and maintain accurate logs, records, and reports.
  • Report updates, challenges, and installation issues to the Modular Project Manager.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to site teams and apprentices.
  • Foster a safe, collaborative, and efficient work environment.
