JOB SUMMARY: The Mold Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in the mold industry while managing and expanding relationships with existing accounts to drive sustained growth.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Experience: Preferred experience in engineering and/or manufacturing.
Skills: Good understanding of manufacturing processes and blueprints. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Familiarity with EPICOR business system and Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Requirements: Must be willing to travel. Must be fluent in English and French. Shift and weekend work may be required

Responsibilities
  1. Identifies customer needs and recommends appropriate mold solutions to meet specific requirements.
  2. Prepares and enters accurate customer quotes and sales orders into the system.
  3. Follows up on quotes and tracks the progress of sales orders to ensure timely fulfillment, working with Engineering and Manufacturing teams as needed.
  4. Provides exceptional customer service by promptly addressing product inquiries, concerns, and issues— both internally and externally.
  5. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects from design through manufacturing and delivery.
  6. Generates new business opportunities through proactive outreach, including cold calling, networking, and participation in industry trade shows and events.
  7. Maintains in-depth knowledge of company products, services, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  8. Assists in the preparation and management of contracts and pricing agreements for customers and field sales staff.
  9. Regularly reviews mold part pricing to ensure competitiveness in the market.
  10. Works with Manufacturing to monitor mold part inventory levels to ensure minimum stock requirements are met.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.
