Job Details Job Location: Jesup, IA Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 Hourly Job Shift: First Description Position Summary The Molder III role provides the machine set-up and operation on the assigned fittings production line, maintaining safe work practices. This role reports to the Production Manager or Plant Manager based on the location. Accountabilities Downstream Fitting Packaging & Handling Finished Goods Quality Housekeeping, Safety & Process Compliance Cross-training & Development Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate assigned production equipment, completing start-up/shut-down procedures, operating all assigned production lines in a safe, efficient, & productive manner while maximizing output. Perform corrective maintenance, repairs, or changeovers, performing mechanical adjustments to equipment, as needed during production. Remove excess flashing from the blow/injection mold part with a hammer or band saw. Properly trim blow/injection mold parts with a band saw or rotary cutter. Apply barcodes and package blow/injection mold parts as required. Weigh blow/injection mold parts to make sure they meet the specification for the proper weight. Measure the length to make sure the part fits properly in mold. Visually inspect finished product for defects before final packaging. Compete electric work as per job requirements and training under NFPA 70E electrical and arch flash requirements. Palletize and shrink wrap finished goods. Load the finished parts into the storage trailers. Verify that finished goods meet Prinsco’s quality standards, Identifying and reporting defects or improper machine operations immediately. Complete accurate, real-time reporting as required. Assist other team members, as needed. Focus on cross-training, continuous learning and improvement. Train in additional skill levels, including machine operations, computer requirements, and paperwork. Participate and support the Continuous Improvement (CI) culture. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, or in process of completion with a minimum of six months of manufacturing or production experience, including Prinsco experience. Experienced in or the ability to learn electrical knowledge for this job required under NFPA 70E electrical standard. Effective communication skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Forklift experience preferred with the ability to achieve a forklift certification. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, 50 pounds 1/3 of the day, & 75 pounds less than 1/3 of the day. Using hands and reaching with hands/arms for over 2/3 of the workday. Standing, walking, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for over 2/3 of the workday. Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate colors. Ability to work in a production environment that is not temperature controlled and occasionally in varying outdoor weather conditions. Ability to work in a loud noise environment.
