Molecular Biologist (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear)

In this role, you will:

  • Perform R&D to harness emerging molecular biology technologies to enhance detection and mitigation measures for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Defence
  • Generate research approaches, design and conduct laboratory studies to develop new biological materials (e.g. antibodies, enzymes) and workflows for desired purposes
  • Analyse and communicate research proposals and outcomes to stakeholders
  • Work with hazardous materials such as toxic chemicals

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree/ Master/ PhD in Molecular Biology/ Molecular Biotechnology/ Synthetic Biology
  • Experience with bacterial, yeast, and/or mammalian cell culture
  • Demonstrated expertise in Protein engineering, production and/or purification
  • Experience in high-throughput screening, protein/nuclei acid synthesis and/or sequencing
  • Motivated, innovative and resourceful individual with keen interest in applied research
  • Possess good communication skill
  • Comfortable to work with hazardous materials such as toxic chemicals

EXPERIENCE:

3 ~ 10 years
