Description **Starting at $250k inclusive of Base Salary + Comm AIM OF THE POSITION The Senior Molecular Oncology Specialist’s (Sr. MOS) primary responsibilities are to develop and successfully execute sales strategies to ensure achievement of revenue goals for oncology services by focusing on strategic selling opportunities of Agendia franchise products (i.e. MammaPrint, BluePrint, etc.) within an assigned territory. POSITION WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION 1. Reports to Regional Sales Director/Sr. Regional Sales Director 2. Cooperates with all departments within Agendia 3. Participates in: – Meetings – Conferences – Trainings Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Play a significant role of developing and leveraging KOL relationships, communicate and drive “best practices”, and assist the Regional Sales Director (RSD) in training, recruiting, and mentoring MOSs · Lead and/or participate in regional/company-wide projects/teams · Role model for Agendia Sales Force and a mentor for new hires or individuals not performing to standards · Identify, target, educate and manage accounts in the assigned territory including hospitals, pathology groups, oncologists, and surgeons on Agendia’s Symphony cancer products. · Analyze the designated territory to understand prescribing and purchasing decision processes and any marked differences from national trends · Drive new oncology business, maintaining customer relationships and exceeding sales targets · Achieve sales forecasts and targets · Participate in organizing and facilitating meetings for the exchange of medical and product information in line with the company’s policies, regulatory and legal requirements · Represent company at trade shows, attend company meetings, training programs and functions as needed · Recognize changes in the work environment, develop and implement alternate plans to achieve objectives, modify call plan/business plan activities accordingly · Identify key physicians, health care providers and organizations within assigned territory · Focus targeted sales activity on high-end revenue, volume opportunities and Community based providers · Support company sales strategy and contribute in fostering a team environment · An MOS can provide test report orientation guidance at the request of the clinician, however should avoid making specific patient management or treatment recommendations. · Present a positive and professional image of Agendia, and ensure activities are consistent with and enhance the company’s ethical marketing policies and procedures · Travel independently throughout defined territory to drive oncology sales · Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) · Provide ongoing communication to the Regional Sales Director regarding business opportunities and issues · Maintain database of customers and targets in SFDC · Present at quarterly sales meetings · Work closely with marketing on regional market trends, competitive threats and new testing opportunities · Follow all Agendia, Inc.’s health and safety policies and procedures · Perform all Company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g., EEO, FDA, DEA,OSHA, PDMA, EPA, etc.) and Company policy and procedures. When violations are noted/observed they are to be immediately reported to management. KEY CONTACTS Internal o All company departments External o Existing and potential clients EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION · Bachelor’s degree EXPERIENCE · 2 + yrs experience at Agendia and/or 5+ years’ work experience in field sales, in the diagnostic, oncology, lab services, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other related industry · Monthly case volume average >20 cases per month for previous 6 months KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA’S) Specific Knowledge Required: Knowledge: Comprehension of a body of information acquired by experience or study.
