Your Job
Molex is looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic aspiring Test Automation Engineer to join our team in a full-time role. This position involves automating design verification test processes using Generative AI and Python, as well as leveraging deep learning techniques for optical line system data-based modeling, monitoring, and fault analysis. You will play an integral role in advancing our engineering and AI-driven solutions while contributing to high-impact projects.

WHO YOU ARE (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS)

• Recent/upcoming graduate with Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related fields with a graduation date no later than May 2026.
• Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning principles.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Knowledge of Generative AI concepts, prompt engineering and tools (e.g., GPT models, transformers).
• Basic understanding of optical communication systems or willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for tackling complex challenges.

Own the development and deployment of automation pipelines for design verification test processes using Python and Generative AI techniques. Build and optimize AI-driven workflows to improve testing efficiency and accuracy. Develop deep learning models for analyzing optical line system data, with a focus on fault prediction, anomaly detection, and performance optimization. Design and implement monitoring tools for real-time system analytics using data-driven methods. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into broader system architectures.
