Description

An international IT service & solution provider is seeking a skilled and motivated MOM Engineer – Siemens Opcenter to join our team to design, develop, and maintain low-code applications using the Mendix platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to create scalable, user-friendly applications that meet operational and strategic needs. This role involves implementing and optimizing Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) solutions to enhance production efficiency, quality control, and logistics integration.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing Siemens MOM solutions.
  • Proven experience in system administration, networking, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of ERP, and industrial automation technologies.
  • Experience with SQL databases, scripting (Python, PowerShell), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Strong expertise in Windows/Linux server management and virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, system security, and data analytics in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software integration challenges.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced production settings.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Understanding of manufacturing workflows, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience in automotive R&D, including industry-specific processes and innovations.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate effectively in technical and business contexts.

Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Siemens Opcenter Connect MOM solutions within the IT and production environment.
  • Develop customized applications using Mendix.
  • Develop custom scripts and automation solutions to improve data flow and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, engineering, production) to enhance system functionality and business processes.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices for manufacturing IT infrastructure.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and storage solutions.
  • Implement automation solutions using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Generate and maintain technical documentation, process workflows, and user training materials.
