Job Description Database Design & Implementation – Design and implement database solutions using Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB best practices. Create data models, schemas, and database management processes tailored to application needs. Performance Optimization - Monitor and tune the performance of databases, including queries and indexing strategies. Implement best practices for data partitioning, sharding, and replication to ensure high availability and scalability. Security & Compliance - Implement security measures to protect sensitive data in compliance with relevant regulations. Monitor access control and audit logs to ensure data security practices are followed. Backup & Recovery – Establish and manage backup and recovery processes for database environments to ensure data integrity and availability. Data Migration & Integration - Plan and execute data migration strategies from on-premises databases or other cloud systems to Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB. Integrate databases with existing applications and services, ensuring seamless data flow. Scripting - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Terraform, Python, Bash, JavaScript (Node.js), Ansible, Puppet, or similar for managing MongoDB deployments for automation tasks.
