Mission Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated Monitor Tech to join our team in Panorama City, CA. The Monitor Tech plays a vital role in patient care by continuously observing and interpreting cardiac monitor data to ensure timely and accurate communication of patient status to healthcare professionals. RESPONSIBILITIES * Continuously monitor cardiac and respiratory rhythms for multiple patients using telemetry equipment. * Identify and communicate any changes or abnormalities in patient status promptly to the nursing and medical staff. * Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of monitoring activities and incidents. * Set up and maintain telemetry equipment to ensure proper functioning and patient safety. * Assist with routine ECGs and other diagnostic procedures as needed. * Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care plans. REQUIREMENTS * High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical training or certification preferred. * Experience with cardiac monitoring or telemetry technology is highly desirable. * Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize arrhythmias and other cardiac events. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Basic computer skills for documentation and monitoring software usage. * Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced clinical environment.
