JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking a Monitor Technician for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

  • You will be knowledge of medical terminology.
  • You will maintain telemetry supplies.
  • You will maintain and make decisions to report patient condition to supervising parties.
  • You will perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.

What qualifications you will need:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • 6 months of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • CMT/Cardiac Experience Preferred.
  • Completion of Basic EKG/Arrhythmia course. Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias. Must pass a Basic Rhythm test during if interviewed.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
