How you'll contribute A Monitor Technician who excels in this role: * Under the supervision of the RN, performs telemetry monitoring. * Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors. * Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately. * Identifies and corrects for artifacts. * Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. * Tests equipment for proper working order. * Reports equipment problems to supervisor. * Review and comply with LifePoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and procedures. Responsibilities

The Monitor Technician performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors under RN supervision, identifying significant arrhythmias or signs of patient distress and intervening appropriately. This role also involves identifying and correcting artifacts, reporting abnormal findings to nursing staff, and ensuring equipment is functioning correctly.
