Description

Under general supervision, follows established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines. Responsible for monitoring and identifying basic normal cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, and lethal arrhythmias; reporting these findings to the appropriate personnel, and rhythm documentation and labeling per TGH policy. Promotes and maintains patient support including but not limited to: interprets and post rhythm strips and protocol, performs 12 lead EKGs. Maintain and clean portable telemetry monitors between patient use according to manufacturer's guidelines. Education Degree Major And/Or High School Diploma or GED License/Registration License/Registration - Issued by Florida or Compact State And/Or Certification Certification And/Or Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Assocation or American Red Cross Work Experience and Additional Information Basic EKG class and demonstration of competency through testing.
