MONITORING AND ALERT SPECIALIST – WATER TRANSPORTATION & MONITORING

Location/Onsite: Kaysville, UT, - Onsite, 3 days on / 4 days off
Our client, a respected player in the oil services industry, is looking for an experienced part-time Monitoring and Alert Specialist to join their team in Kaysville, UT. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground opportunity to support real-time water transportation monitoring for saltwater disposal (SWD) operations. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in real-time remote monitoring and control of pressure, flow, temperature, tank levels, and alarms to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts with 3 days on - 4 days off
  • Ability to work on-site in Kaysville, UT
  • Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent degree
  • Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and other operational software tools.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor real-time data like pressure, flow, tank levels, and alarms to ensure steady operations
  • Adjust high and low-pressure pump settings as needed
  • Track chemical levels and dosing across sites
  • Manage oil load documentation and flow measurement (Devlar)
  • Collaborate with field teams to resolve operational issues and balance measurements
  • Monitor GPS data to optimize truck efficiency and fuel usage
  • Generate and analyze pipeline and truck measurement reports
  • Maintain open communication with field personnel, drivers, maintenance teams, and clients
  • Ensure all operations adhere to safety standards and state regulations
  • Log and report spills, incidents, and safety concerns promptly
  • Order supplies and oversee onsite inventory (e.g., filters, gloves, water)
  • Maintain shift logs and prepare detailed handoff reports
  • Coordinate operator schedules and process work orders
  • Use Microsoft Teams and Verizon tools for daily communication and reporting
