Organizational Context and Scope: The IOM Coordination Office for the North Pacific covers the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), Republic of Palau, Kiribati, and Nauru, with its main office located in Pohnpei and six Sub-Offices across the North Pacific. Ongoing operations focus on FSM, RMI, and Palau, supporting communities across geographically dispersed islands. The Office works closely with national and local governments and local stakeholders to design and implement targeted initiatives guided by evidence and community-based approaches. Its programs focus on disaster risk reduction, emergency preparedness and response, building resilience at the community level, and promoting safe and orderly migration. To facilitate efficient emergency responses, International Organization for Migration (IOM) maintains four strategically positioned warehouses stocked with essential relief supplies. Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (COM) and the direct supervision of the Programme Support Unit (PSU) Coordinator, and in close coordination with the Regional Monitoring and Evaluation and Risk Management Officer at the Regional Office and relevant Sub-Offices and Units at the Mission Level, the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for supporting all aspects of projects/programmes/strategy Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), the development and implementation of the M&E system to strengthen monitoring and evaluation activities, data collection, data analysis, and reporting, to facilitate learning and recommend continuous improvements, where necessary.
