Program Background The Economic and Social Infrastructure Program (ESIP) is an Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) program implemented by DT Global. Under strategic direction from DFAT officials at the Australian High Commission in PNG, ESIP is delivering a range of activities and policy initiatives in the energy and telecommunications sectors. ESIP is also supporting PNG’s state-owned enterprise performance improvement program and delivering social infrastructure planning, design and construction services. The role focuses on data collection, entry, verification, and basic analysis, supporting the MEL team in producing high-quality reports and learning products. Click on the link or copy paste it to access the full Terms of Reference for this position: TOR MEL Officer.pdf About You Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as international development, social sciences, statistics, computer science, or evaluation Minimum two years of experience in MEL or data-related roles, preferably in development programs Basic understanding of MEL concepts and tools Experience in data collection and entry using digital tools (e.g., Kobo Toolbox, Excel) Some knowledge and / or understanding of applying GEDSI and safeguards principles.
