The MEAL function plays a critical role in ensuring that programmes are implemented effectively, transparently, and in line with NRC standards and donor requirements. It supports programme teams to generate reliable data and evidence on project progress, results, and impact, while strengthening accountability to affected populations and promoting continuous learning and improvement. The MEAL Officer contributes to the implementation and strengthening of MEAL systems at the Country Office level, supporting data collection, analysis, reporting, and learning processes to ensure that programme decisions are informed by accurate and timely information. Responsibilities

The MEAL Officer is responsible for implementing and strengthening monitoring, evidence, accountability, and learning systems to ensure program effectiveness. This includes collecting and analyzing data to inform program decisions and strengthening accountability to affected populations.
