You’ll handle 150–200 calls a day, dealing with inbound and outbound calls and liaising with blue light agencies, so strong telephone experience is essential. The role of a Monitoring Operator will involve monitoring alarms, managing communications, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers, helping us maintain the highest standards of security and reliability. You will need to be able to multitask effectively. You’ll also need strong attention to detail for accurate data entry, good PC literacy, and the ability to follow processes and procedures for escalating calls. Full training will be provided on our software systems. That includes: Answer all calls promptly with a high level of customer service, giving assistance to internal and external customers, including liaising with third parties and contractors, as required Effectively process alarm activations across a variety of platforms in accordance with customer-defined specifications ensuring a duty of care to all staff Manage mobile alarm call outs and provide solutions in a timely manner Monitor CCTV and respond to all customer requests relating to their alarm system and escalate issues accordingly.
