LEAD A MODEL MONTESSORI CLASSROOM

• Design and maintain an inviting, safe, and orderly Montessori prepared environment.
• Ensure constant supervision and safety of children, maintaining compliance with city-mandated teacher-to-child ratios.
• Collaborate closely with Assistant Guide(s) to deliver a consistently high-quality Montessori learning experience.
• Deliver Montessori lessons in a thoughtful, sequential manner aligned with Guidepost Montessori training standards.
• Observe and document each child’s development, strengths, and interests, using this insight to tailor support in accordance with Montessori principles.
• Engage with children in a warm, respectful, and joyful way that nurtures independence and confidence.
• Apply constructive feedback from fellow Lead Guides, your Montessori Mentor, and the Head of School to continuously enhance classroom practices.
• Collaboratively address student challenges through teamwork with your Mentor, Head of School, and peers.
• Welcome parents and staff into the classroom for tours and observations.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Fluent in English or Mandarin
• Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Possess a MACTE-accredited Montessori Diploma (AMI or AMS preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with children aged 2–6 years
• Deep passion for Montessori education and philosophy
• A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
