We are looking for an AMS Montessori Kindergarten Teacher for a kindergarten in Beijing. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year starting in February 2026. About the kindergarten This international kindergarten is based in Beijing and is part of a larger education group specializing in early childhood education, research, and school management for children from infancy to six years old. The group integrates best practices from well-known international early education models to support high-quality bilingual early learning. With over 50 campuses across 18 cities in China (including Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuhan, and more), the organization offers strong professional support, training resources, and clear development pathways. About the role The AMS Montessori Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for leading a Montessori classroom environment that supports children’s independence, confidence, and love of learning. You will prepare and maintain a purposeful Montessori classroom, guide students through individualized learning, and build strong partnerships with parents and colleagues. This role may include participating in school events, parent communication, and ongoing professional development within the group. Responsibilities Lead a Montessori kindergarten classroom following AMS Montessori principles and best practices Prepare and maintain a safe, orderly, and engaging Montessori learning environment Observe, guide, and support children’s development through individualized learning plans and records Deliver Montessori lessons and activities aligned with children’s developmental stages Support children’s social-emotional growth, independence, and positive behavior habits Communicate regularly with parents, including progress updates, meetings, and conferences Collaborate with co-teachers and school leadership to plan classroom routines and events Participate in staff training, school activities, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure classroom safety, cleanliness, and compliance with school policies and procedures Bachelor’s degree or above in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Master’s preferred) AMS Montessori Certification (preferred) or equivalent Montessori training (AMI accepted) Minimum 2 years of kindergarten / early years teaching experience (Montessori experience preferred) Strong understanding of child development and classroom management in early years settings Confident communication skills with parents and colleagues in a multicultural environment Salary and Benefits Monthly salary of 30,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Monthly salary of 5,000 to 6,000 RMB Paid winter and summer vacations Full work visa sponsorship Health insurance Professional development opportunities Performance-based bonuses
